Solheim Designere AS
Solheim Designere AS have been working with us from the late 1970s. Our transit seats were designed by the very talented Elsa and Nordahl Solheim. The Solheim Design never goes out of style. Kristian Solheim from Solheim Designere AS is the architect serving us on all transit seats today. He is an excellent and service minded business partner that we are grateful to be working with.

Pharos Design
Pharos Design started working with EKNES in the early 1990s on the design of railway passenger seats. Lasse Petterson is an industrial designer with substantial experience also from working as a designer for Volvo. He is also the designer behind our Pacific Sleeper series, now available for both railway and the Marine market.

EC Tech Limited is an important business partner for EKNES in China. Management in EKNES have ownership together with Aage Christensen who have lived in China for the last 16 years. It has been important to have local presence in order to increase knowledge and to get familiarized with the Chinese supplier market. High quality has always been the core of EKNES and local presence have therefore been the key to ensure that quality requirements are upheld. Today the company has a solid network of highly competent sub suppliers that provide electronic- and casted components for us. Products are quality checked and packed at Shenzhen EC Tech Trading.
Entertainment system
Bazeport Technology
If you would like to have your passenger seats delivered with integrated entertainment system, EKNES can prepare most of the EKNES passenger seats for this. It is up to our customer to choose the subsupplier of entertainment system, but we have been working with Bazeport Technology for many years and have very good experience with them and their products.
